- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. How We Share Your Information
We share information only in the following circumstances:
| Recipient | Purpose | Data Shared |
|---|---|---|
| Firebase (Google) | Delivering specific server-triggered push notifications (e.g., subscription/billing, social/roommate-expense notifications, and admin broadcasts) | FCM device token, notification content, and routing metadata (notification content may contain names, amounts, or context for these specific server-triggered alerts) |
| Cloudinary | Hosting uploaded media/files | Profile photos, uploaded note attachments, invoice files, and similar user-uploaded content |

We may also share aggregated or anonymized data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
If InAll is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
6. Data Storage and Security
- Your account and app data is stored on secured servers located in India.
- Uploaded media files are stored via Cloudinary's global content delivery infrastructure.
- We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted password storage (bcrypt hashing) and authenticated API access, to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
- No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide you the Service. Specific retention practices include:
- Published notes may automatically expire and be deleted according to the expiry settings you choose when creating them.

You have the right to:

9. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party service providers, each of which processes data under their own privacy policies:
- Firebase / Google Cloud (push notifications, authentication) — Google Privacy Policy
- Google AdMob (advertising and consent management) — Google Ads Privacy Policy
- Cloudinary (media storage) — Cloudinary Privacy Policy
- Google Play Billing (subscription payments) — Google Play Terms
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties beyond our own use of their services as described in this policy.
9.1 Advertising (Free Tier Only)
The App uses Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial advertisements to users on the free tier. AdMob may collect and process data such as device identifiers, IP addresses, and ad interaction metrics to deliver these ads.
We have implemented the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to manage ad consent. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, you will be presented with a consent form upon launching the App, allowing you to choose whether to receive personalized or non-personalized ads, or to decline consent where applicable. We bound the maximum ad content rating to Teen ("t") to ensure appropriateness.
Premium and Pro subscribers do not see advertisements, and no ad-related data is collected for these users.
10. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. See Section 2 for details.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
12. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
